I am Md. Abu Bakar Siddique, father-late Nawab Ali, mother-Rokeya Begum, resident of Ward 1, Uttara, Dhaka-Bangladesh. As a citizen of Uttara, I feel that I have many responsibilities and duties for the benefit of the people of Uttara. Ward No. 1 has a Kazi appointed which is approved by Government of Bangladesh for Uttara Model Town. As a citizen of Uttara, I go to different wedding ceremonies at different times. Then many times dishonest Kazi from other areas besides Kazi of Uttara came and registered the marriage with the Kazi identity of Uttara. Later due to legal action of the bride or groom, when you need the marriage certificate, you can’t find it. The Kazi who registered the marriage then could not be found sometimes. If the conscious citizens of Uttara register the marriage with Kazi of Uttara for marriage registration at the time of marriage, then none of you will admit to fraud in future. At different times the wedding ceremony is held in a hotel or restaurant. Then the hotel manager or other responsible authority persuaded the party and they took the responsibility of Mr. Kazi. Then get the marriage registered with some dishonest Kazi Sahib from outside Uttara. Nowadays in the age of internet / web site most of the time people search for the address of Mr. Kazi through internet. I, as a conscious citizen, kindly request everyone to register the marriage by Mr. Kazi of their respective areas.

I am Md. Zahirul Islam, Father: Md. Abdul Quddus Bhuiyan, Mother: Johera Khatun, Village + Po: Chargach, Thana: Kasba, District: Brahmanbaria. At present I am a Maulana in the Uttara Kazi Office approved by the Ministry of Law, Government of Bangladesh. The features of Kazi Office were highlighted for the information of all.

1. Kazi Office is a social service organization. Therefore, it is open daily from 8 am to 11 pm, including holidays.
2. Matters relating to marriage and divorce are advised in accordance with Islam and state law.
3. We perform wedding ceremonies in Uttara Kazi Office, Home / House, Hotel, Restaurant, Chinese Restaurant, Residential Hotel & Uttara Model Town with utmost sincerity.

I am Maulana Abdul Bachir, father-Shafiqul Islam, mother-Ranu Begum, I am a resident of Uttara, As a Maulana i go to different houses, hotels, restaurants in Uttara to attend marriage at different times. Almost all the time during the wedding ceremony, I saw the Kazi Sahebs from other areas besides the appointed Kazi of Uttara Model Town approved by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, come and register the marriage with the Kazi identity of Uttara and trap the residents of Uttara sector.Which is not good for our society. Because the government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has appointed a specific Muslim marriage registrar in certain areas. According to the rules, the registrar of one area cannot come to another area and register the marriage. In order to register the marriage, the marriage should be registered by the appointed Muslim Marriage Registrar of the area where the marriage will take place. Marriage is a sacred bond, this sacred bond was first started with a lie. Registering a marriage with a false address is against the law.
A registrar may attend marriage outside the designated area, but may not register the marriage. Marriage is the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). This sacred marriage will be registered by the Muslim Marriage Registrar appointed by the government of the area where the marriage is taking place. If the marriage registry is done by the registrar of another area, the marriage related documents cannot be found in time of need. Therefore, as a conscious citizen, the marriage should be registered by the responsible Muslim marriage registrar of the area where the marriage will take place.
